Sad but true.

I’m sure the #1 question on your mind right now is “What happens when my dollars get taken out of circulation?” Well, I have news for you. They are shredded and then promptly “sent to landfills or packaged and provided as souvenirs to the public during tours of the Federal Reserve Banks“. How lame. I would much rather see those dollars get composted or recycled into chairs, doormats, necklaces, or at least some new paper. Plus, it costs dollars to get those dollars to the landfill!

Think if these recycled paper chairs were made of money! Genius!
